The Mutual UFO Network is the largest and longest-running volunteer organization focused on the investigation and research of unidentified flying objects. The non-profit organization seeks to resolve the question of whether there is life beyond earth, and has some 500 investigators who examine reported UFO sightings. MUFON was officially established in 1969 as the Midwest UFO Network, and grew to become a global organization with some 4,000 members in 50 states and 43 nations. The organization headquarters are located in Cincinnati, Ohio, with chapters in all states. MUFON publishes a monthly journal, MUFON UFO Journal, holds international symposia and maintains an extensive archive of sighting case studies on its website. The organization’s website offers a live UFO map of sightings within the United States and a series of papers on subjects ranging from alien beings and alien technology to quantum physics, anti-gravity and blackholes.
