Rich Hoffman, founder and executive board member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, has more than 55 years of experience investigating and researching UFO phenomena. Hoffman, who graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, is an Information Technology consultant and strategist who has worked as a defense contractor with the Army Materiel Command HQ and with numerous private companies. He is currently Senior Systems Engineer Analyst at Chugach Government Solutions, LLC, and an Enterprise Architect at Redstone Arsenal and the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where he is often referred to as the “Command Ufologist.” Hoffman has served as Director of Investigations, Star Team Manager and Director of Strategic Projects, as well as the State Director, with MUFON. He appears in numerous media reports on UFOs and UAP, and frequently presents on the subject. For SCU, Hoffman helps to lead a coalition of some 70 scientists, researchers and professionals to scientifically and publicly explore anomalous phenomena in the broadest sense. The organization promotes rigorous scientific examination of these phenomena.
