Elizondo, Luis, “Lue”

Luis "Lue" Elizondo

Luis “Lue” Elizondo is a leading figure in the UFO / UAP community, and a proponent of the full disclosure by government of information related to UFOs. Elizondo is the former director of the Department of Defense’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (ATTIP), which studied the UFO phenomenon and which was ended in 2012. Thereafter, Elizondo worked in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSDI), resigning over “bureaucratic challenges and inflexible mindsets.” Elizondo later joined To The Stars Academy as Director of Government Programs and Services. During Elizondo’s time at TTSA, the organization achieved significant success, prompting the release of Navy UFO sighting videos and dramatically altering public perception of UFOs. Elizondo left TTSA in late 2020, along with Christopher Mellon and Steve Justice, seemingly due to TTSA’s focus on its entertainment division over its information disclosure efforts. Elizondo, who can be found @LueElizondo on Twitter, has been featured in numerous television, radio and podcast interviews, as well as documentaries, including Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation on History.
